Blacksmithing Taster Days
 
Blacksmithing taster days are now available here at the Old Dairy Farm. Taster days are usually on a one to one basis but can be catered to a maximum group of four. Available teaching days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Participants must be over 18 years of age.  During the taster day we aim to make something you can take home, such as a poker, key rings, coat hooks, bottle opener or perhaps something you had in mind yourself to try?
A two course lunch will be provided at our on site Barn Restaurant, for those opting for the full day taster, along with liquid refreshments. 
 
Prices
Half day taster: 10am-2pm £150 pp
Full day taster: 10am-4pm £225 pp

 

Group bookings (4 participants) 10am-4pm

Taster days are a great way to grasp the concept of a craft such as blacksmithing. An enjoyable experience, with perhaps a sore arm from hammering the next day! PPE must be worn by participants. Please bring along with you safety boots, ear defenders and safety specs.
